Gibson Beach and China Grove are located at Point Lobos State Reserve about 4 miles from downtown Carmel. With stunning rugged ocean views, wildlife and trails, Gibson Beach is accessed from Bird Island Trail with its trailhead at the very end of Point Lobos’ scenic road and is the highlight of this superb park. Don't leave valuables in your car and be watchful for slippery rocks/walkways.
