This is a bit far out but it's the best hiking trail in the Austin area! Most elevation change and good senary.

Best off leach dog hiking trails! Loops around up the hills and across clear water creeks about 6 miles back to the start of the park.

A short drive away, Turkey Creek is a playground you can't miss if you are traveling with your dog. It's an off-leash trail that winds back and forth along a creek, with areas to splash around and fields to enjoy.

Easy, but pretty, hike. The drive there is gorgeous. Check out Ski Shores Cafe while you are in the area.
