this is the closest grocery store to North topsail beach. it is at the intersection of highway 210 and old folkstone road. food Lion was started in North Carolina back in the 1950s. overall it's a good store but very busy on Saturdays when lots of people are checking in.

Saturdays are mobbed with vacationers arriving for the week. This is why we rent Sunday to Sunday. "The Shrimp Lady" sets up a stand at the store for local seafood.
