Bay Beach, kid friendly, not a big shore break like we sometimes see in the ocean beaches so great for small children. Parking lot and bathrooms on site. Really great sunsets here.

In Historical Lewes , enjoy beautiful sand on the Delaware Bay with normally less crowd than our larger ocean beaches. Within walking distance to a variety of restaurants and shops. This beach have public restrooms and nearby places to rent beach chairs and umbrellas.

Great beach for families w/ little children as this is technically the bay and does not get waves. Beautiful place to watch sunset. If venturing, on the weekend, I recommend to go very early(before 9 am) or very late (after 4 pm) to get a parking spot in the lot. You do need to pay to park.
