Paint Rock is only a 20 minute drive from the Red Bridge Cottage, and it is gorgeous drive right along the banks of the French Broad River too. There are several great swimming holes, water falls, picnic spots, hiking and mountain biking trails.

Great for fishing or wading. We love to take the kids for a dip in the summer time here. Make sure you know how to swim!
