This amazing tour starts with a 35 min ride on the Luminosa catamaran to the glowworm caves. There is a short walk to Cavern House for a chat about the caves and. glowworms before entering the caves in small groups. There is a guided walk and boat ride in the caves before ending up in the Grotto viewing the fabulous lights of the glowworms. The round trip is 2 hrs 15 mins.

This tour involves a cruise up Lake Te Anau (about 40 minutes) then you head into the caves with a guide. Total trip time is about 2.5 hours. Great trip for families and watch out for the “Kids Go Free” over holiday periods. Real Journeys operate this tour.
