If you want to save some money one of the best places for a bocadillo (sandwich) is Narrika bar. Can look old and unappealing but its "Autonomo" is worth it. (loin with peppers, cheese and mushrooms)

A full amount of traditional pintxos. Good quality-price relationship

Delicious Bocadillos at best value. It doesnt get more authentic than that.
