This is such a fabulous day out and you can either drive to Brockhole (10 mins away) or get the 555 open top bus from Ambleside bus station or a ferry from Waterhead. Lots of options once you arrive as well, a stroll around the lake, a kids play area which is highly rated or afternoon tea at the restaurant; The Gaddum (booking for the restaurant is recommended as it can get busy).

An amazing place to visit with lots going on. Tree top treck, high wire, tree top nets, cycling, archery, caving and lots more. Check out their website and pre booking is essential.
